What the documents mean for you
Exolix can demand proof of identity, address and source of funds, and may delay, cancel or refuse your transaction if you say no. It can withhold a refund on deposits its system calls suspicious. It shares your IP and verification data with partner exchanges.
The refund clause says that if Exolix's security system recognises an incoming deposit as suspicious, it may ask you for information to verify the source of the funds, and it takes no responsibility for refunding or completing the transaction if you refuse. The privacy policy adds that Exolix and/or the third-party provider handling your exchange may require proof of identity, proof of address, source-of-funds documents and proof of wallet ownership, and that not supplying them can lead to delay, cancellation, suspension or refusal of the transaction.
