What the documents mean for you
Wagyu can block your address and refuse transactions at its own discretion, sending funds back to the sender; it freezes or seizes only under a court order. No accounts or KYC, keys stay on your device, but swap orders, amounts and destination addresses are kept.
Nothing in the corpus describes identity verification, document requests or accounts: the privacy policy states there are no accounts, no sign-up and no e-mail collection. However, the compliance policy lets Wagyu hold your assets when a court or an authorised government body serves a binding legal order, and lets it block addresses it judges linked to sanctions or illegal activity, which places it at level 2 rather than level 1.
Wagyu blocks an address when it links it to a sanctions list, a sanctioned territory, or activity it decides in its sole discretion may be illegal or against its policy. The documents never ask you for a name, documents or any identity data, and there are no accounts. A blocked transaction is sent back to the address it came from; Wagyu says it will only freeze or seize assets when it receives a valid court order.
Warnings
Wagyu can block an address from using the service if it decides you broke its policy or that the address may be linked to illegal activity. Transactions from a blocked address are rejected and returned to the sender.
Wagyu will freeze or seize assets when it receives a binding court order or equivalent legal instrument from an authority with jurisdiction over it. It states it will not do so on informal requests or internal suspicion alone.
Swap and bridge order records stay on Wagyu's servers, tied to an identifier derived from your wallet's view key. The policy gives no retention period and no way to delete them.
People located or resident in Cuba, Iran, North Korea and the Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions may not use Wagyu. Wagyu can also decide to withhold the service from other jurisdictions or users.

When Wagyu blocks an address under its sanctions or suspected-illegal-activity rules, the transaction is sent back to the originating address, and no identity check is attached as a condition anywhere in the corpus.
“Transactions from Blocked Addresses will not be permitted to proceed and will be returned to the originating address. For the avoidance of doubt, the blocking of an address from interaction with Wagyu under this paragraph does not involve the freezing or seizure of Assets.”

What the documents say
Wagyu says it will only freeze or seize your assets when a court or authorised government body serves a valid, binding order, and that this applies without exception.
“A formal court order or equivalent legal instrument is required before Wagyu will act to freeze or seize User Assets. This requirement applies without exception.”

Wagyu can label any on-chain address as blocked, purely on its own judgement that it may be tied to illegal activity, and then refuse all interaction with it.
“Wagyu reserves the right to designate certain on-chain addresses as "Blocked Addresses" and to block such addresses from transacting through or otherwise interacting with Wagyu where Wagyu determines, in its sole discretion, that such addresses may be associated with illegal activity”
Other, docs.wagyu.xyz
Wagyu keeps the records of your swaps and bridges on its own systems. No deletion period is given.
“Order records needed to execute and support your swaps and bridges are retained by the Wagyu service. Everything else lives in your browser and is deleted when you remove the wallet or the extension.”
Privacy policy, docs.wagyu.xyz
Each quote or order sends Wagyu's API the assets, the amounts, your destination address and an identifier derived from your wallet's view key that links your order history across Wagyu apps.
“the Wagyu API (api-beta.wagyu.xyz) receives the assets, the amounts, the destination address you provide, and a pseudonymous session identifier derived from your wallet's view key. This identifier lets your own order history follow your wallet across Wagyu apps”
Privacy policy, docs.wagyu.xyz
Wagyu states it does not sell your data and shares it with outside parties only as far as needed to carry out the swap or bridge you asked for.
“We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties, except as strictly required to execute the swap or bridge orders you initiate.”
Privacy policy, docs.wagyu.xyz
The extension connects by default to Wagyu's own Monero node to sync and broadcast your transactions, though you can set a different node. Your view key stays on the device.
“the extension connects to a Monero node (node.wagyu.xyz by default, or a node you configure) to download blocks and broadcast the transactions you sign. Scanning happens locally: your view key is never sent to any server.”
