The exchanges OrangeFren lists can halt your swap and demand KYC and proof of where your coins came from, and its refund guarantee does not pay out in that case. The guarantee only covers swaps made through its links and claimed within 4 weeks.
OrangeFren itself is a directory that asks for nothing and needs no account, but its own FAQ states that some listed exchanges reserve the right to demand identity verification and source of funds, and that swaps are occasionally halted for that reason. Because that demand can hit any user at any time through the services it routes them to, and the operator does not guarantee against it, this matches shotgun KYC rather than no KYC mention.
OrangeFren does not run any identity check itself and no account is needed to search rates.
