What the documents mean for you
FixedFloat can suspend your order, demand source-of-funds proof and ID, and freeze funds it ties to crime or sanctions until police ask for them. It can refuse refunds without giving reasons, and passes data including your IP to partners and authorities.
FixedFloat says you do not have to register or give personal data to swap, but it reserves the right to check every incoming transaction with its own security system, suspend the order, and demand full source-of-funds details. Section 6.5 lets it run KYC and SoF procedures on suspected abuse, and section 7.9 lets it ask you to pass identity verification before it returns your money, so identity checks can be triggered at any time by its own flagging.
Checks start when their security system or a complaint, partner, public source or police tip links your deposit to crime or sanctions, or when they think you are faking exchanges to get refunds. They then ask you, from the email on the order, for full details on where the funds came from, and in some cases for identity verification. If you refuse or give false data, they can freeze the funds and hand them to victims with police help; where verification is demanded, they pay the refund only after you pass it and only back to the sending address.

Funds tied to sanctioned or criminal addresses, or sent from an address they consider compromised, can be frozen until law enforcement makes an official request. The terms set no deadline for giving them back.
Sending the wrong coin or using the wrong network can mean a 30-day wait, a flat $10 processing fee on top of the miner fee, and no refund at all below $20. A missing MEMO or tag costs 10% of the amount, minimum $10.
You must give a working email you own; temporary addresses are not allowed and the address on an order cannot be changed. Without it, they can refuse to suspend the order, change the receiving address or refund you.
People in or from Georgia and India, US citizens and residents, and people in countries on the UN Sanctions List are barred, and the service says it uses various methods to stop such access.
