What the documents mean for you
Coincards can cancel or reverse orders, demand identity verification at any time, and close your account immediately. All sales are final; any refund is paid in BTC and forfeited if unclaimed within 30 days. It refuses payments from custodial wallets.
The user agreement says you agree to hand over whatever information Coincards requests for identity verification and anti-money-laundering purposes, and that you may have to complete verification before you can start using the Services or reach higher limits. Verification is not presented as a routine step for every buyer, but Coincards can demand it at any time, can block or reverse a transaction on suspicion of financial crime, and the privacy policy states that refusing to provide the information leads to your account being terminated.
Verification can be triggered by Coincards' own risk assessment, a suspicion of fraud or money laundering, a legal or regulatory demand, or your request to raise transaction limits. It can ask for your full name, date of birth, nationality, gender, signature, utility bills, photographs, phone number, home address, email, and government photo ID; for higher limits it can also require records and meetings with its staff, and charge you for that review. If you do not provide the information, Coincards can refuse or reverse the transaction, suspend or cancel your account, and the privacy policy states your account is terminated.
Warnings
Coincards states that all sales are final and refunds are discretionary. If it does agree to a refund and you do not supply a BTC address within 30 days, it treats the money as abandoned and keeps it.
Coincards can ask for your name, date of birth, nationality, signature, utility bills, photographs, phone number, home address and government photo ID. The privacy policy says your account is terminated if you do not provide what it requires.
Coincards takes no responsibility if a merchant kills a gift card balance or a customer account, including where the customer used a VPN or Tor or the merchant deems them "high risk".
Daily and per-card limits apply by country, from 999 in the EU zone to 9,999 in Canada. Coincards can cancel any order above the limits or any order it thinks is an attempt to get around them.
Coincards only helps with issues from issued digital codes for three months after purchase, and states it does not keep records of codes beyond that period.
