What the documents mean for you
Coincards can cancel or hold your order and close your account at any time, and can ask you to identify yourself. All sales are final and refunds are discretionary, paid only in BTC; if you do not claim one within 30 days they keep the money.
The user agreement contains a standing identity-verification clause: you agree to give whatever information Coincards requests for identity verification and financial-crime detection, you may have to complete verification before using or accessing specific Services, and limits change based on information collected on an ongoing basis. Verification is not described as a routine step for every order, but it can be demanded at any time, is required through Enhanced Due Diligence to raise limits, and refusal lets them cancel orders, hold them, or close the account.
Checks are set off by their own risk review, suspicion of money laundering, fraud or other financial crime, a request to raise your purchase limits, or screening for Politically Exposed Persons. They may ask for full name, date of birth, nationality, gender, signature, photographs, utility bills, phone number, home address, email and government photo ID, plus records and a meeting with staff for Enhanced Due Diligence. If you do not provide what they ask, they can refuse or cancel your order, hold it while they review, suspend or close your account, and a refund for a cancelled order may be withheld where the law requires it.
Warnings
A refund must be claimed within 30 days of their written agreement to issue it, by giving a BTC address. After that the money is treated as abandoned and forfeited to Stuff Technologies.
The privacy policy states that if they cannot process your personal information for identity and risk purposes, the result is termination of your account.
You may not use the service if you held a prominent public function in the last 20 years in any country, or if you are a family member or close associate of such a person. They can ask for documents to confirm this and report information to authorities where the law requires.
The terms state that any suspension, restriction or cancellation they apply may extend to the IP addresses you have used to access the site in the past.
Coincards only helps with problems arising from issued codes for three months after purchase, and states it does not keep records of codes issued past that period.
