0trace
grade B
0trace is a service built for fast, private cryptocurrency exchanges.
grade B
What the documents mean for you
0trace can refuse to process a deposit sent to an expired or invalid order, and such mistakes cannot be reversed. Lose your order ID and the order is gone. Rates float, so you get the rate at confirmation. No accounts, no KYC; order data is deleted 72h after it ends.
The terms state outright that 0trace performs no KYC verification, never asks for identity documents, and will never request AML documentation from the user, and section 12 repeats that it runs no identity checks or AML screening. No clause anywhere lets the service ask you to identify yourself or hold your money until you do.
Nothing triggers an identity check here: the terms say there is no KYC, no identity check and no AML screening, and no document upload form exists in the service. The team states it will never ask for source-of-funds explanations, invoices or any AML paperwork. The one case where they may hold back your coins is a deposit sent to an expired or invalid order, which they may decline to process; that is not tied to identification.
Warnings
The terms set the minimum order at 1 USD equivalent, while the FAQ on the same page says the deposit must stay above a 40 USD minimum. Which figure applies is not resolved.
The chat notice claims 0trace never keeps logs, but the terms state it stores order data for up to 72 hours after an order ends and keeps access logs for short-term operational debugging.
A deposit on the wrong network, to a dead address, or after the order expired cannot be unwound, and the destination address cannot be changed once the order is created.
The service says it is in active development: per-transaction caps may apply and individual asset routes can be switched off temporarily.
How the score was reached
Privacy90/100
Trust51/100
Overall = (privacy × 0.6 + trust × 0.4) / 10, rounded = 7/10, grade B. Each attribute above rests on a clause quoted below or was assigned by a moderator; the rest is what the listing knows.
Attributes5 moved the score
Unclear refund policytrust -4
The refund policy is unclear or nonexistent.
The terms describe no refund process; for deposits sent wrongly or late they only offer a case review with no guarantee, and may refuse to process the funds at all.
“The team will review individual cases through the encrypted chat but cannot guarantee recovery and may decline to process a deposit that was sent against expired or invalid order parameters.”

Accepts Moneroprivacy +5
This service accepts Monero, a privacy-focused cryptocurrency that provides enhanced anonymity.
No registration neededprivacy +5
Users can access and use the service without creating an account.
The service works without any account, login or profile; an order ID is the only credential.
“There are no accounts. There is no registration, login, password, or persistent profile. Every order is identified solely by its order ID”

Uses own liquidityprivacy +5
The service runs its own liquidity, so there is no third-party liquidity provider that could independently demand KYC or block funds.
Payouts are funded from the service's own reserves rather than a third-party provider that could impose its own checks.
“Payouts come from 0trace’s own liquidity reserves — our funds, not yours — so that what the user receives is clean.”

What the documents say
If you send to an expired or invalid order, or on the wrong network, 0trace may decline to process the money and gives no guarantee of recovery.
“The team will review individual cases through the encrypted chat but cannot guarantee recovery and may decline to process a deposit that was sent against expired or invalid order parameters.”

The order ID is the only credential. If you lose it and the browser session, the team cannot retrieve your order.
“The order ID is the only credential. **There is no recovery.** If the user loses both the order ID and the browser session in which the order was opened, the order cannot be retrieved by the team.”

The quoted rate is not fixed. You are paid at the market rate in force once your deposit has enough confirmations, which can be worse than the quote.
“The rate shown when an order is created is a quote, not a guarantee: it continues to track the market while the deposit is being confirmed, and the amount you receive is calculated from the rate in force once the deposit reaches the required number of confirmations.”

Order data (addresses, amounts, status) is deleted 72 hours after the order ends, and chat messages disappear after 24 hours of inactivity. You can delete both earlier.
“Order data — destination address, deposit address, amounts, status — is permanently deleted **72 hours after the order reaches a final state** (completed, expired, or canceled). The user can delete a finalized order earlier from the order page itself.”

0trace does not tie IP addresses or user-agents to orders, but it does keep access logs for short-term operational debugging, with no stated time limit.
“0trace does not store IP addresses tied to order data, does not log user-agent strings against orders, and does not retain access logs beyond what is required for short-term operational debugging.”

If you arrive through a partner link, one first-party cookie records which partner sent you so they can be paid. It expires after 24 hours and holds no personal data.
“if the user arrives through a partner referral link, a single first-party `HttpOnly` cookie records _which partner sent them_ , so that the partner can be paid for the referral. It expires **24 hours**after the visit, carries no personal data”

Some orders are not paid from 0trace's own reserves but routed through integrated DEX liquidity. The service picks the path automatically and you do not choose it.
“Orders are settled either by direct on-chain payout from 0trace’s own liquidity, or by routing through integrated DEX liquidity, depending on the asset pair, network conditions, and available depth. The execution path is chosen automatically.”
