What the documents mean for you
FuguSwap's automated system can pause or reject your swap and will never tell you why. A frozen order auto-refunds if you stay silent for 60 minutes, but stays on hold with no deadline if no usable return address exists. No KYC, no account needed.
The Terms and AML Policy both state outright that no identity checks exist: "We run no identity checks — no KYC, no KYB, no document uploads" and a dedicated section listing what the service will never ask for (passports, selfies, bank statements proving source of funds). Support contact on a stuck order is limited to getting a return address, not to verifying the user, so nothing in the corpus lets the service demand identification.
Automated screening looks at chain data, the pair, amounts, jurisdiction, and whether the order touches names on the restricted counterparty list; a hit freezes the order. The service says it will never ask for passports, selfies, company documents or proof of source of funds, and account creation stays optional. If your order is frozen, the only thing support asks for is a return address; staying silent for 60 minutes triggers an automatic refund, but with no usable return address the funds stay on hold with no deadline.
Warnings
If your deposit came from a contract or pooled wallet and you left no refund address, they hold the money until you supply a workable return address. The one-hour auto-refund clock does not start until then.
The automated system can pause, reject or reverse a swap, and the Terms say they will never tell you which flag fired or what score your deposit received. Using the service means accepting that.
You must confirm you are not in the United States, Cuba, Iran, Russia, Belarus, North Korea, St. Kitts and Nevis, Syria or any broadly sanctioned territory. They also may refuse service in any market without notice.
