API

Public data

No key, no account. Both return JSON.

  • GET /api/services.json: every listed service with its scores and attributes.
  • GET /api/services/<slug>.json: one service.

Feeds

RSS, no key:

  • /feeds/events.xml: notices from the moderators, and material changes found in a service’s documents.
  • /blog/rss.xml: blog posts.

Each account also has a private feed of its notifications; its address is on the account page.

Account endpoints

These read what belongs to one account. Create a key under My account → API keys. A key is shown once and stored only as a hash. Send it as a header:

Authorization: Bearer kl_...
  • GET /api/me.json: the account’s name, role and karma.
  • GET /api/me/notifications.json: its latest 100 notifications. Reading them does not mark them read.
  • GET /api/me/reviews.json: its latest 100 reviews and where each stands.

A missing or wrong key gets a 401. Wrong keys count against your address’s hourly limit, and over that limit every request gets a 429.
